Love Chico

We will not be having service this Sunday at the cafe. But We will be joining 18 other Churches to serve in our community. We will be living out "Loving thy neighbor" as well as "living out what we believe" The projects include schools, parks,non-profits, retirement homes,etc. This is a great opportunity to come together as the body of Christ to serve others and to meet some new friends. If you have not signed up please email sherimnash@yahoo.com and we will get you signed up for a project. If you have already signed up as a volunteer thank you very much!!

Mid Week Opportunities at the Cafe

Divorced? Separated? Know someone going through it?...
These can be some lonely and painful times. You (They) do not have to go through it alone. On Monday nights, beginning Sept 14th at 6:30 pm at the cafe, there will be a thirteen-week seminar/support group for those who have been divorced or separated. Come or invite a friend and find others with whom they can share their journey and find help and healing through Jesus Christ. Serendipity style Bible study
Wednesday nights at 6:30pm at the cafe. The purpose is to study God's word with friends and to hopefully make new friends. for more information contact Ralph Wind at 892-2041 or Chris Gardner at 891-8267

Service Change this Sunday 8/30!!!

We are having our worship service and all church picnic at Wildwood Park, 10am Come for worship, sharing, lunch and games. Matthew's will provide hot dogs, drinks, and paper goods.... Just bring along a side dish to share. The youth group will have a dessert fundraiser to help defer the cost of their Winter Yosemite trip.

Update and Congregational Meeting

Congregational meeting/update on Saturday, Aug 22nd from 1-3 pm. Join the leadership team for a time of discussion as we continue to implement God's vision for Matthew's Cafe. Babysitting will be provided.
